Second Hand Hope Online Return Policy

At Second Hand Hope, we take pride in offering quality second-hand goods at affordable prices. Due to the nature of our items, all sales are final, with limited exceptions.

Returns & Eligibility

We only accept returns for the following cases:

• Electronics & Small Appliances – If an item is found to be non-functional, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery for store credit. The original order confirmation is required.
• Damaged or Incorrect Items – If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or not as described, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can assess the issue and offer a solution.

To request a return, email secondhandhope@soapforhopecanada.ca with your order number and photos of the issue. If your return is accepted, we will provide further instructions.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Clothing & Footwear – Due to the nature of second-hand shopping, we cannot accept returns for sizing or fit issues. We recommend reviewing measurements provided in the product description before purchasing.
• Hygiene & Personal Care Items – For health and safety reasons, these items are final sale.
• Gift Cards & Special Promotions – All digital and physical gift cards, as well as promotional items, are non-refundable.
• Clearance & Final Sale Items – These items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if there is a problem. Claims for damages or incorrect items must be submitted within 3 days of delivery.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If your return is approved for store credit, you may use it toward a new purchase.

Refunds

Refunds are issued as store credit only for approved returns. No cash, debit, or credit card refunds will be provided.

Return Shipping

• Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item).
• Approved returns must be shipped to the address provided in the return instructions.
• Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
